Tom Ristoski, Senior Director Industry Partnerships, University of Notre Dame Australia

Tom Ristoski is a highly experienced Senior Executive who heads The University of Notre Dame’s Industry Partnerships and Pathways Directorates.

His areas of expertise are in strategy, management and leadership, where he has over 25 years’ experience designing and delivering executive development programs both domestically and internationally.

At Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Tom pioneered the creation of global study tours for senior executives, as well as the development of postgraduate qualifications for specific industries and client organisations, from Graduate Certificates to Masters Degrees customised for client needs.

At UNDA Tom developed the Graduate Certificate in Management for Parish Priests (one of only two globally) as well as designing Australia’s first MBA for School Principals.

He has delivered executive leadership programs for a range of corporate and government clients including KMPG, Mallesons Stephens Jacques, Telstra, Optus, AXA, IAG, Essential Energy, Employers Mutual, Woolworths, Baxter Healthcare, TAFE NSW, Australian Defence Force, Attorney General and Justice, ASIC; to name just a few.

His previous experience includes executive roles in management consulting, insurance and financial services.

Colin Simpson, Education Technologist, Monash Education Innovation Team, Monash University

Colin Simpson is an Education Technologist in the Monash Education Innovation team at Monash University. He has worked as a Learning Technologist, Education Designer and Academic Developer since 2003 at the Canberra Institute of Technology, ANU, Swinburne University and at Monash since May 2019.

Colin is an enthusiastic advocate of Technology Enhanced Learning and Teaching (TELT) and works to support opportunities for teachers to create better learning experiences for their students with technology.

Colin is a founder and co-convenor of ASCILITE TELedvisors (educator advisors) network, an Australasian community of practice for learning designers, learning technologists and academic developers with more than 500 members.

Colin is currently undertaking PhD research at the University of Sydney investigating strategies to enhance the collaborative working relationships between edvisors, academics and management in Higher Education. Colin tweets as @gamerlearner and blogs about TELT at http://screenface.net

Tracy Zou, Assistant Professor, Department of Educational Administration and Policy, Faculty of Education, The Chinese University of Hong Kong

Dr Tracy Zou is an assistant professor in the Department of Educational Administration and Policy at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research focuses on supporting collective forms of professional development for university teachers in the areas of internationalisation of the curriculum and teaching and research integration. Her research work has appeared in reputable journals in the field of higher education, for example, Studies in Higher Education, Higher Education, and Higher Education Research & Development. Tracy is keen to work with student partners and co-researchers to enhance various aspects of teaching and learning. Her on-going project funded by the Research Grants Council of Hong Kong adopts a collaborative student-staff inquiry into undergraduate research experiences. In addition, she is an associate editor of International Journal for Academic Development and an editorial member of Asian Journal of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
