About the Author
Elizabeth Drummond Young taught moral philosophy at the University of Edinburgh,after completing her doctorate there in 2004. She currently runs a course in the Philosophy of Friendship and Love and also writes on the philosophy of religion.She is a founder member of the Albertus Institute, which promotes open dialogue between the Catholic faith and intellectual disciplines, including science and economics. Before a career in philosophy, she was an investment manager.
