A living ministry — more than a publication

In 1970, Rev. Dr. Russell Hardiman founded Pastoral Liturgy with a simple but profound conviction: that every parish, school, and community deserves access to rich, faithful liturgical formation — regardless of size or resources. More than five decades later, that conviction remains as compelling as ever.

Rooted in the Catholic tradition and published by The University of Notre Dame Australia, Pastoral Liturgy has grown into one of the University's most widely accessed public resources, reaching readers across the globe. It brings together theological scholarship from leading academics, practical tools for parish leaders and educators, and reflective guidance for musicians, ministers, and everyday disciples — all who share in the Church's sacred mission.

Every issue is freely available — because we believe liturgical formation should never be gated by geography or financial means. But this openness is only possible through the generosity of people like you. Every gift given — whatever its size — directly sustains this ministry and ensures that Pastoral Liturgy continues to serve worshipping communities for generations to come.

You are warmly invited to join us by donating a gift to honour Rev. Dr. Russell Hardiman's legacy and carry his vision forward.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to keep liturgical formation open to all.
