The Fitzroy Crossing Night Space is a community-led, Aboriginal-designed, early intervention service providing a safe, culturally grounded environment for young people who are street present and unable to safely remain at home during evening and night-time hours. The service operates every night of the year, delivering culturally appropriate and trauma informed support services and engagement activities including hot meals, hygiene facilities, first aid, youth mentoring, transport and support to reconnect young people with school, family and community. From the 2nd September 2024- 30th June 2026 we have engaged 952 young people, had 27,489 individual attendances and served over 51,000 meals.
