Abstract
Three University of Notre Dame Australia Broome Campus students have benefited from the generosity of the Soroptomists International of Broome.
Education students Annabel Oliver and Patricia Francis and nursing student Lisa Ellman were awarded the Soroptomist Scholarships for not only showing outstanding dedication to their studies, but also for contributing to the Campus community.
The scholarships were awarded at a special ceremony at the Broome Campus library gallery space by Soroptomist members Pam Lee and Karin Brittain.
Broome Campus Deputy Vice Chancellor Sonia Wagner congratulated the students and thanked the Soroptomists for their generosity and support.
A decline in the Soroptomist membership forced the group to disband earlier in the year, but one of their final actions was to donate the three thousand dollar scholarships to full - time female students at the Campus.
