Archbishop Hickey received special recognition with the conferral of an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Laws in recognition of his outstanding leadership to the Church in Western Australia, and his exceptional service to the University.
Geraldine Kelly was the Valedictorian, having achieved a grade point average of 3.96 out of a possible 4. Ms Kelly pursued her academic studies after working successfully for 18 years in the banking industry. Notre Dame Vice Chancellor, Dr Peter Tannock, AO, said, “The continuing growth of the University is reflected in the record numbers of graduands at these ceremonies.
