Abstract
The University of Notre Dame Australia Broome Campus students will be seeking to make it two wins from two during the summer season of sport in Broome.
Fresh from participating in a successful dragon boat campaign the students have continued to be involved with social events in town.
Broome Campus students from the NDFC social soccer side featured in the local soccer association’s World Cup Indoor Soccer tournament held at the Broome Recreation and Aquatic Centre. The team, playing as Australia, won a thrilling final to claim the annual World Cup trophy.
The Hunchbacks touch football team have begun their quest for an elusive grand final win in convincing fashion. The team are undefeated in their first four matches of the Broome Touch Association season.
The Hunchbacks have made the past two grand finals in the social grade only to lose both in extra time. The side have also claimed the season’s male Most Valuable Players award two seasons in a row, but the team would prefer to add the premiership to the honours list.
