Abstract
The 2008 edition of the Good Universities Guide to Australian Universities and Private Colleges has awarded The University of Notre Dame Australia seven 5 star ratings.
This is a record for this young, growing university with over 6,000 students on its campuses in Fremantle, Sydney and Broome. The Vice Chancellor, Dr Peter Tannock, said he was delighted with the ratings the University has received from this highly influential publication.
“I am particularly pleased that we have received 5 stars for teaching quality, generic skills, graduate satisfaction, getting a job, and positive graduate outcomes. These are highly prized areas for any university,” he said.
The Vice Chancellor said that much credit is due to Notre Dame’s outstanding staff. “They combine high academic and professional expertise with a very strong commitment to pastoral care and the maximisation of student success at the University.” he said.
