Abstract

New Senior Deputy Vice Chancellor and Dean of The University of Notre Dame Australia’s Fremantle Campus School of Business, Professor Geoff Kiel was a Chief Investigator in a successful Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery Grant application this year.

As a director, consultant to many boards and author of two books and numerous publications on corporate governance, Professor Kiel is acknowledged as an expert in corporate governance.

He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Institute of Management and past president of the Australian and New Zealand Marketing Academy (ANZMAC) and a past president of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management (ANZAM).

The project is titled ‘Director identity, identification and information flows as predictors of board monitoring, resource provision and organisational performance.’
