Abstract
The University of Notre Dame Australia’s Broome Campus hosted the WA FM Big Brekky on May 13. Staff and students took the opportunity to talk about life on Campus during the live radio broadcast featuring WA FM’s, Dean Thomas.
The renowned student pancake breakfast was held in conjunction with the broadcast, allowing the Vocational Education and Training (VET) students, in Broome for their study block, a chance to gather together with ‘on Campus’ students.
The Big Brekky broadcast proved popular among staff and students with the WA FM team happy to conduct live interviews over the course of the morning.
A range of questions about their courses and extra curricular activities in town were answered and Tertiary Enabling Program (TEP) student, Tom Coughlan, won a CD for his interviewing efforts. It was WA FM’s second visit to the Campus, with host Dean Thomas having happy memories from his visit last year.
Once again Dean took full advantage of the table tennis games being played and was happy to interact with both staff and students throughout the morning.
