Palliative care for non-pain symptoms

Abstract

The article discusses palliative care for non-painful symptoms, which is intended to achieve the best quality of life and treat dying people as a normal process. It presents various cases of respiratory and gastrointestinal symptoms, its causes and the most currently accepted palliative treatment to relieve each problem. It notes that pharmacological intervention which is most evidenced is the use of low-dose morphine.
