Traditional assessment models in nursing education are being reconsidered by the University of Notre Dame in an effort to reduce stress among students and make better use of resources. One of the challenges of nursing education is to effectively teach psychomotor skills to undergraduate nursing students and ensure they are well prepared to undertake the rigours of working in clinical settings.
