Abstract

The Shadow Minister for Education Science and Training, Mr Stephen Smith, visited The University of Notre Dame Australia’s Fremantle Campus to discuss the Australian Labor Party’s proposed Higher Education policies with Vice Chancellor, Dr Peter Tannock.

They also discussed the special needs and priorities of Notre Dame. Dr Tannock said that it was a very constructive and positive meeting.

"Mr Smith showed a keen interest in the University and an understanding of the major policies issues related to Higher Education in Australia."

“He was very supportive of the role and work of Notre Dame on its three campuses in Fremantle, Sydney and Broome."
