Successful 2009 Enrolment Days
The University of Notre Dame, Fremantle Campus
The West End of Fremantle was again full of activity when The University of Notre Dame Australia’s Fremantle Campus opened its doors for the 2009 Enrolment Days at the end of January.
Over 1300 new students will begin semester 1 2009 in courses in the Schools of Arts & Sciences, Business, Education, Health Sciences, Law, Medicine, Nursing and Philosophy & Theology. This represents an 8% growth from 2008.
Mrs Rommie Masarei, Executive Director, Admissions & Students Services said that it was an outstanding result at this time.
“The students will be the largest cohort to commence at Notre Dame. The quality of the student is especially noteworthy.”
The next big event for students will be the annual Commencement Ceremony Parade which has now become a tradition for the ‘town university’. On Tuesday 3 March 2009, after being welcomed by the Mayor of Fremantle at 5.30pm, academics and students will parade throughout the streets of Fremantle celebrating the beginning of the academic year.
