Abstract

City’s I is a 15 minute moving image production that explores the 20th century idea of the flâneur. The film traces the journey of a female protagonist through a city’s space, and explores the idea of the city ‘looking back’ at its inhabitants. City’s I raises questions about spectatorship, surveillance and the corporeality of the city.
