Abstract
The Sydney Campus Executive Director of The University of Notre Dame Australia, Peter Glasson, is delighted to announce the appointments of Fleur Edwards and Chris Ferris as Assistant Directors. The Sydney Campus will offer courses in Arts, Business, Education, Law and Nursing from February 2006.
Mr Ferris of Sydney brings extensive commercial acumen to the role of Assistant Director - Business and Development. A business graduate of the University of Technology , Mr Ferrris was employed by the National Australia Bank for 30 years, during which time he held several senior positions in NSW, Victoria , South Australia and Queensland .
He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Banking & Finance and the immediate past president of the Rotary Club of Sydney.
Ms Edwards, formerly based at the University's Fremantle Campus, has been appointed Assistant Director - Marketing and Student Services - with responsibilities for marketing and student recruitment, student administration and services, and international activities.
Ms Edwards has considerable Australian and international experience in marketing and management and is currently completing a Masters of Business Administration.
Mr Glasson said both appointments reflect the ongoing growth of the Sydney Campus.
'Fleur and Chris will play pivotal roles as we bring to fruition several years planning for a new, dynamic, university campus in Sydney,' Mr Glasson said.
